💬 Biography
Anne-Marie C. Dingemans, MD PhD, is a pulmonologist and a professor of thoracic oncology at Erasmus MC. Between 2004 and 2019 she was appointed at Maastricht UMC+. She received her medical degree at University Maastricht in 1994 and her PhD at VUMC in 2000. She performed her training for respiratory physician at VUMC and LUMC. Currently she is involved in translational research in lung cancer, with special interest in neuroendocrine lung tumors, driver mutations and oligometastatic disease.
She was chair of the EORTC lung cancer group from 2021 to 2025. She was involved in the EORTC initiatives to develop a consensus definition on synchronous oligometastatic NSCLC and a consensus definition of resectability of stage III NSCLC. Since June she is chair of the scientific chair council of EORTC. She is the lead-author of the ESMO guideline on SCLC. She is associate editor of the Journal of Thoracic Oncology and editorial board member of the International IASLC Lung Cancer News. She has (co)-authored more than 300 publications and book chapters.
